I only read a couple of them but Septimus Heap comes to mind. It's by Angie Sage. The another would be the Fablehaven books. I know both are geared more towards younger teens, but they were great.

I haven't really watched anything since the announcement of RDJ as Doom. I might watch Thunderbolts and CA4. I do need to watch Agatha.
