Hey, we said very clearly that there would be absolutely no easter eggs in this novel. Like none at all. There are no familiar species on that cover in the right hand lower corner.

More information: the artist of the shield doesn't want do to more revisions and has been paid, but we need smoke to be more like smoke. We like that style. We know what we want on the other 7 shields.
