I wouldn’t assume every woman wants to be or even needs to be a mom in order to have empathy. People can be understanding without having to go through what we have in our roles as mothers.

It’s easy to say this. The reality of it is many kids are raised solely by one parent. The lack of community in our American culture as well as individualism keeps the village from helping. Single mom here and I want to say that I don’t need a mans help to raise my son to be a decent human being.
