wow this is such an unexpected nostalgia trip, I used to draw on and carve erasers a bunch both in and just outta school, and until right this second it hasn't come across my mind since. thanks for triggering such a pleasant memory \(:D)/

the basic shtick with the comic was a lot of quick off the cuff humor, as a rule i never worked more than 40 min on any one pic/panel even when i eventually switched to digital as to "keep it genuine" to the impromptu nature of the jokes and a lack of time to really focus on it (0>0)/

the comic they're from was made to prove a point to a friend about how there are non-toxic platforms out there, their original appearances are in these pics here, I never intended for the girl (what's her face) to be recurring but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

if you ever get the itch to try sooner than later you can always go for a test run on webtoon/tapas, for all their faults they're still some of the few platforms that ensure casual creators keep their IP's (0>0)/

I applaud your willingness to count reflections as part of the colour job,I would have just called it a stand alone full render but i used IRL mediums back then so maybe it's less of a headache than i think digitally. also love your slogan and follow up "hues for hire,values at value" :D

awesome, IDK if the whole story fits in one post but to keep it brief, they're from an old webcomic i used to do, with the more "monstrous" ones being jointly created from enjoyable interactions i had with readers at the time, canonically the dark toned girl there has a PsyD and runs a practice
