and finally, I set up DDNS using Cloudflare so that I don't need static IP from my ISP and this configuration can be used for any home network.

I even added a networkwide adblocker so that the ads could be blocked not only on websites (brave can do that way better) but even on applications and software that come with ads and by connecting to the VPN I can do adblocking anywhere in the world.

I set it up with OpenVPN so that I can access my network from anywhere in the world. I also set static IPs for each device along with local DNS so that I can access them using domains like laptop.example.locale rather than remembering each IP address.

2. OpenWRT was used as the router's firmware to configure everything. It provides a clean web UI and many handy additional packages, such as AdBlock and VPN.

3. An ethernet cable connected this router to a network switch, which provided both wired and wireless access through a WAP.

Here's what I did:
1. I used Raspberry Pi 5 as the hardware, with a USB-to-ethernet port as the WAN input.
