One time I got a temp job stuffing envelopes. Spent the night at a friends and we partied the whole night. The next day, we put tea bags in our coffee to try getting more caffeine. It was gross, I would not recommend it.

I mean, at least cover or remove it, and maybe have a decent history in various non hate oriented groups first. A former nazi can still vote against fascism and hate if elected.

The problem is that people always just complain about "AI" when thats not what they have an issue with. It's not a trap, its someone whose only knowledge of the subject is the oft repeated "AI is bad" writing an article about avoiding "AI"

The discover feed is powered by machine Learning, which is a branch of AI. They also use AI in their moderation.

Except that person would say, "I wish I didn't have to eat this, I want to be a vegan and not eat meat, but meat is the only option." Which isn't what they had said. Also, Mastodon exists, and doesn't have any type of algorithm, there are options if you want to consume social media without AI.

Like, there's correcting someone over a little mistake, and then there is pointing out that someone whole heartedly declared their ignorance about a subject as if it is something to be proud about

OK, but thats not what the article is about, and Machine Learning is AI. I'd also point out that the algorithms created for social media feeds are indeed quite bad.

Bluesky uses AI to power it's discover feed and for content moderation. If you continue to use this app, then you will be intentionally using AI. In fact, better drop off all social networks since they all do this. Which was part of the point of the article, AI is everywhere, and you are using it
