Hard at work on my WIP: A story about a grief-stricken Honest Abe who is eating his feelings after the death of his son called “Lincoln in the Larder”
I feel this in my soul. My current plan for the spring semester is to be a ski instructor. Maybe I can put it on my CV as “lecturer in winter sports.”
Which I feel like, I as prepare to shuffle out CVs into the bone-dry windstorm of this year's job market, is about where I am. I have no opinions of success, but I can't quit, can't slack, because I'll at least have my bitter end.
