On NPR someone suggested that the tariffs are actually designed to help China. By having lower tariffs their products will rise less while still giving the appearance of punishing China. So GM cars prices go up more than Tesla?

I get that and am desperately disappointed in is supporters and enablers. But I think this country is still worth fighting for. There may come a time when I give up but not yet
