@nazeefatima.bsky.social that looks like something that should be curriculum in today’s political climate!

I also know I'm not the only one who feels this way or who has been in a similar situation. Social media has become a place where it's easy to express ideological beliefs and ideas, for better and worse.

What is the right thing to do here? Ignore? Just remove them from Facebook? Do the morally right thing and engage? Stand up for something I believe in?

I know there is more than one correct answer here.

... change their mind. However, with a STEM background I feel that I'm not necessarily the best equipped to engage in a rhetorical exchange of political matter. But also I am provoked by someone waving their academic banner to justify hate.

Additonally, posts are getting more and more unhinged.

the ironic thing is that this person is queer themselves, so to me this reads very much as someone pulling up the ladder after them.

As a fellow academic, I feel obliged that I should engage this person in debate, but I also do not want to waste time and energy on someone who will not ...

honestly, it feels like they are not even trying that hard to convince people that this is "totally not a scam you guys". Still, people are taking the bait.

wait, those are two caffeine molecules, which AFAIK, are NOT polyphenols. And what is that bond??? Why are these guys selling products for coffee, they should be winning the Nobel prize!!!

I'm interested in hearing from Waved if the radio waves generated by their devices are any different from the radio waves we are constantly bombarded with all the time from radio stations all over the world. Is my body constantly generating free-donations electrons as a consequence from this?
October 24, 2025 at 9:09 AM
as a refresher, EM radiation in this freq. range is in the radio wave band. Here, Waved claims that this radiation is enough for "free-donating electrons" to form, which then evolves into anti-oxidants. Ehhhhh, okay?

This video gives an explanation, and boy oh boy, are there some interesting claims: youtu.be/-qtFCZlY3lc?...

the company claims by emitting EM waves in the 500-5000hz band, food will have more flavor, have a longer shelf life and it can probably even do your taxes with enough exposure.

Everything about this product screams scam, but from what I can see, there is very little push back from the coffee community. Jack Simpson used this in this year's barista championship, which he won, so perhaps this is it.
