Honestly, this also doesn't surprise me. "Don't Feed The Trolls" also covers for FOSS devs.
I've seen a number of projects tank because the dev(s) insist on their way is the only way.

I wake up this morning, have had a week that involves a LOT of additional paperwork and delays causing me problems and meaning I need to spend a lot of time on stuff I didn't need to be dealing with... and now I have to revamp my streaming setup... weeee.....

I have terrible coordination at 3am and I got woken up by my bladder... if I don't use a holder I wind up with toilet paper unrolled all over the floor. And that's without my (now departed) cats being involved.
