Traditionally, American firefighters would assist with the fire efforts, especially if they were close to the border. Under Trump, I fear they won't mobilize, or it will become a political issue where Trump will demand stateship in exchange for the aid or some stupid shit.

Beating Poilievre in his own riding has been the most scrumptious cherry on top that I could have asked for.

At some point, there's a level of effort and willingness required to becoming informed. If it takes a little more than 5 minutes to get informed about something as important as the future of America, I think that's something that people should be looking to spend a bit of time on.

It's not really excusifying. The reality is that the majority of America didn't vote. I'd wager that the majority of that majority wasn't paying any attention at all. Fox News has more listeners overall than other media in the US, so people are going to be more Trump skewed.
