the most recent stylistic movements circa like 2019 onwards have trended more and more towards like, full on experimental literature, incorporation of poetic passages, a taste for describing political irony in black comedy terms (i would describe the average user as Well Meaning Social Democrat)

i think postmodernist is one of those things thats most usefully understood as "things we all mostly agreed satisfy the criteria of being Postmodern" and less as an easily identifiable contemporary set of unifying elements because a lot of those elements arent necessarily unique to it
