A really good friend has been hospitalized and is looking at a months (as in plural) long stay.

Sitting here looking at everything going on in the US. More thankful than ever *not* to be there.
But it’s scary just how fast and efficiently all of this is being done. We tried sounding alarms about all of this before and were dismissed and now it’s happening and none chilling.
