Yes higher standards in terms of what goes into the cattle, but slurry is a key component of organic farming. They are still going to present similar problems to nitrogen run off from inorganic fertilisers.

Why is that astonishing? Organic just means they don't use chemical fertiliser and feed? They still have to collect and spread slurry, and so the risks of slurry being released into water are just as significant?
