or in this case, however they don't want haha. I'm genuinely curious as to why they went this route. Especially after it was said that the decision to make them the final reveal of the night was apparently a Keighley decision. I'd love to know how that played into the strategy to lay low.

yep its been almost 21 years since the last reboot. Letting it go for a few years to let it breathe and then come back with new energy is probably the best option

Live service games have lost the benefit of the doubt at this point with all the failed games. It's up to them to convince us it's good, until they do so people will default to it's a bad game until proven otherwise

Honestly the game didn't do anything for me during the reveal. I didn't even give the game a second thought until I started seeing the headlines that it has been MIA since then. It's not really the audience's fault that they assume the worst these days.
