I can’t remember who recommended this book but I owe them a thanks. Fairytale retellings as are always a favourite.

Original and enjoyable YA fantasy retelling of Cinderella with a great plot twist ending.

It is the third in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

So glad I had uninterrupted reading time so I could finish this in one sitting. I don’t think I could have handled the suspense if I had to put it down. The ending let the book down a bit - wonder if it would have been better if it was a stand alone.
