I think of the Alabama Senate election in 2017.

Roy Moore was an admitted pedophile, and the voters rejected him - in Alabama of all places. But GOP politicians? Nah, they stayed in his corner the whole time.

Any reckoning will have to come from the people.

If they do, go ahead and call 'em pedos.

The Epstein fallout could take down the GOP. But, more importantly, it's a chance to root out the sickness that infects so many minds in all corners of our society.

I do feel kinda foolish about how upset I got after the shutdown ended. Still hate how it went, but it's the Republicans' fault it happened in the first place.

Oh, and now it turns out they're literally a pedo syndicate. So yeah, vote in the primaries and all, but the GOP must be destroyed.
November 13, 2025 at 2:53 AM
Yeah, there's enough smoke here to block out the sun.

The truth has to come out. If Republicans won't do the right thing and also vote to release the files, I hope some brave soul is willing to leak them all.
November 13, 2025 at 2:47 AM
I certainly hope they introduce an impeachment.

Remember, though, you need at least four Rs in the House to impeach, and 20 in the Senate to convict. So don't forget to call them up as well.

Look, who in the GOP is 'manly'?

Trump? Vance? Johnson? McConnell? None of them are traditionally masculine at all.

But they do hate women, and make it very obvious. That's the 'manliness' Fetterman wants. And it's pathetic.
November 12, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Yeah, as bad as this generation of Republicans is, the next one is going to be so much worse.

There won't be any way, morally or practically, to work with or negotiate with them. It's gonna be ugly.

When good people take over, it's going to take a radical reshaping of these universities.

Identify and force out cowardly admin. Require race and gender studies courses - this proves how needed they are.

Maybe tie the school's accreditation to compliance so even private schools like TCU have to.

Pedos protecting pedos.

Epstein's legacy lives on in these monsters.
November 11, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Virginia's getting set up, too. They need to pass an amendment in January (leaders say they will), then voters have to approve allowing them to redraw their maps.

Could be anywhere from 2-4 new D seats depending how aggressive they are. But if you helped pass Prop 50 in CA, there's another coming!

Jon Favreau sharing a stage with Ben Shapiro confirms all my worst feelings about podcast bros. Knew there was a reason I stopped being able to stand Pod Save America a few years ago.
November 11, 2025 at 4:13 AM
You know, that's something I didn't really think about. And I'm sorry you've gone through that.

I'm still angry that this had to happen, but I do recognize that it's really the GOP's fault, and we've got to replace them.

I really hope you get back pay. Sorry for what you've been through.
November 10, 2025 at 11:06 PM
At least she's blaming the right people.

Much as I'm not happy about the Dems ending the shutdown, never forget that the reason we had to choose between starving kids and unaffordable healthcare is the GOP. They've all got to be punished.
November 10, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Yeah, anger is fair, but

1. Primaries are a thing. If you're mad at certain Dems, that's the date to circle.

2. Fascists are a thing, and we've got to stop them.

I'm mad at those Dems, too, but I'm not forgetting that we got here because the GOP fought in court to starve children.
November 10, 2025 at 4:16 AM
I'm agreeing with you. Primary the sellouts and get some leaders in there.

I'm just saying, don't fart around with third parties that have no chance. We've got to fight the fascists.
November 10, 2025 at 4:10 AM
I think the only way out here is to endorse Dems who are proven fighters. Some of those are primary challengers, some are in office now. Highlight and support them.

In my mind, ideology isn't even the big sticking point. It's the willingness to fight for what's right.
November 10, 2025 at 4:04 AM
Yeah, as someone furious about tonight's vote, the only way forward is to primary out the Dems who aren't getting it done, but support those who are, and always vote for them over Rs.

Mad as I am at the eight turncoats, they're better than every Republican, and we need to stop the fascists.
November 10, 2025 at 3:57 AM
I'm not great at Senate procedure, so glad to hear there's another chance. And we've got to raise absolute hell for the other eight.
November 10, 2025 at 3:49 AM
That is a positive and I'm glad to see it.

I'm still disappointed that the ACA wasn't saved, though, and hope we can still find a way to do so. But I'm glad Dems got something out of this.
November 10, 2025 at 3:16 AM
You know, I get the sentiment. But it's Dems or Republicans. And I see a mostly good party with some bad members, versus pure evil.

You don't have to donate, but we can't sit this out.

And remember, there's always the primary for the bad apples.
November 10, 2025 at 3:10 AM
Sorry, I'm confused. I thought this was the cloture vote, and the next vote on passage will only need 50.

Have I missed something?
November 10, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Because our enemies are monsters, Janine! Monsters who want us dead! Monsters who YOU JUST SIDED WITH!
November 10, 2025 at 2:51 AM
I like the comparison because Manchin really was the best we could do out of West Virginia. Fetterman, like Sinema, is a way worse Senator that we could get from their respective states.
November 10, 2025 at 2:36 AM
But they were in session during the early parts of the shutdown. Grijalva was there demanding to be sworn in. Johnson refused.

I know he used the shutdown as an excuse, but I don't trust that pedo for one second.
