I stumbled on this a few days ago and have watched it multiple times a day since.

It’s my favorite thing that Wilson Phillips has done.

Some people process by talking. I process by writing.

This weekend, I wrote about Penny:

Last week-ish, I saw a sale on dog Halloween costumes and found 2 costumes that were perfect for Penny and Ozzie. I ordered them. They arrived today.

Grease would have been the word next Halloween.

I needed a new saucepan. I walked out with two saucepans (not pictured) and two jackets for Ozzie. (Shhh. Don’t tell him. They’re his Hanukkah gifts.)

Thank you all for your condolences.

I’m going to be scarce around here for a day or two while I wrap my head around this.

In the meantime, here’s the last picture I took of Penny:

She’s gone.
Penny started having seizures so we’re at the emergency vet.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared.

Pls send good vibes.

Little Miss hurt her back again and then had a bad reaction to her pain medication.

So it’s back to the vet this afternoon, for new meds and a conversation about long-term treatment because neither one of us wants to keep doing this every month for the rest of her (hopefully long) life.

Took today off from work (to give myself a much-needed 4 day weekend). Went out to lunch and then stopped at Half Price Books, where I found the last Trixie Belden I needed to complete my collection!

Sounds like Duckworth’s a no.
Trump and Republicans refuse to fight for American families, but I refuse to give up on them.

I simply cannot vote to do nothing to help protect them from Trump’s vindictive efforts in exchange for a vague promise from the least trustworthy Republican party in our nation’s history.
