Trans lion done?? I think the pattern could still be improved some but making the second boy was a lot easier than the first ^^

I've got this rad trans colored yarn and I'm trying to decide what to make. I was originally thinking some dino amigurumis (and still might!) but now I'm thinking trans color lion dance or trying to recreate my trans moth sticker in amigurumi! Lmk what you think! #tdov
Thick cottony yarn that feels kinda like a T-shirt. It's referred to as beginner yarn and is used by many for amigurumi. This yarn is variegated and in transgender flag colors of pale blue to white to pink. Amigurumi style dancing lion head with a mouth that opens and closes. His main colors are red and yellow with accents in orange. His has large eyes, nostrils, a mirror to ward off evil, a horn, and a beard. Not seen from this 3/4th angle are his ears. A sticker of a moth with stripes following the transgender flag colors of bright pale blue pink and white, in the middle of the body is the transgender symbol.

Front view of the crochet dance lion with his mouth open so you can see the detail of the mouth. The tongue and teeth are embroidered similar to how the dance costumes' mouths are painted. Underside of the crochet dance lion. It shows the hollow inside shell and flap where the mouth is sewn where someone can manipulate it to move if they put their hands under or inside the head.

New update on project Lion Dance Amigurumi;

I'm loving these new eyes (version 3?) and think these are the final version.

Wondering if I should make the horn larger? I've gotta figure out the ear shape too.

Only thing sewn on is the upper lip ATM, everything else is pinned in place atm.

Been working on this for a while but here's a pic before I start sewing it together...

This photo only has stitch markers on it of where those pieces will be sewn. A second photo of the upper part of the lion dance lion amigurumi. This time an eyebrow, upper lip, and eye are pinned in place. The eyebrow and upper lip are bright yellow and the eye has a golden iris with white sclera and black pupil.
