All the US is doing is fulfilling its obligation to Ukraine after convincing them to make itself vulnerable with the guarantee that they would come to their aid. Gratitude is irrelevant, either you fullfil your obligations or your word is worthless. Ukraine should remind the US of this more often.

That saying about evil thriving when good people do nothing....? Well..disassociating yourself (by resigning , etc.) is doing nothing. Doing anything else other than being an obstacle (e.g. procrastinating , malicious compliance, wetf) to evil... is the same, if not worse, as doing nothing.

Elmo is going after Wikipedia, a platform for info not to his liking (whether it's true or not is irrelevant). A small donation (this coming from a person like me who is very suspicious of donations), would rub it in his face. And hopefully keep Elmo's hands off of another source of info.

If you're only reacting, the game is already lost. Preventing needs prediction (not that difficult since they've made their intentions are clear). Otherwise, better spend your time trying to find ways to either conform, escape, or hide. Reaction means you're loosing.

How technologically advanced a country is, can be determined by how widely adopted certain techs are in every day life. Touristic tech attractions mean nothing if they cannot be implemented on a scale that benefits the whole population. And that takes time and money.

If USA ends up as a dictatorship, it'd be because good people sat there, crying foul, waiting for the system to work, instead of acting. The system is a tool, many like to think it works automatically, sometimes though you got to crank it manually for it to start up. Crank that shit up y'all.

There's always something you can do. Even if it's just gathering evidence for when the reckoning time is nigh. Things always come around. But you need to have the guts to strike fairly but mercilessly where deserved. You know what could help with that? Evidence...

What's happening in US right now is proof (yet again), that even in the most developed of countries tolerance of movements that preach/advance intolerance ends badly...bigly. Giving them a taste of their own medicine, even preemptively, might be a good practice going forward.

So here's an idea: collect money, e.g. via crowd funding platform, organise projection in cinema of documentary (2 to 3 hours) for concentration camps of ww2 (getting into the nitty gritty stuff), and dare any republican or die hard MAGA that they can't watch it all the way through for $100/200.
