a part of the first paragraph talks about etymology.
in one of the sentences there’s the word, “στεγανός” in parentheses.
it’s circled.
The word steganography comes from Greek steganographia, which combines the words steganós (στεγανός), meaning “covered or concealed”, and -graphia (γραφή) meaning “writing”.[1]

but this time its the word on page 1393 in “Etymological Dictionary of Greek” . it’s in the section for the greek root word, “στεγω”. it says that it comes from the proto-indo-europian root, “*(s)teg-”.
this pie root is circled.
στεγω [v.] ‘to cover, defend, avert, keep closed, bear, sustain’ (post-Horn.). ⮘IE *(s)teg- 'cover, roof'⮚
it now points to the pie root in the etymonline page about it.
it lists english words that comes from the root, including stegosaurus, which is circled.
*(s)teg-
Proto-Indo-European root meaning “to cover,” especially with a roof. It forms all or part of: deck (n.) “covering over part of a ship;” deck (v.) “adorn;” deckle; detect; integument; protect; protection; stegosaurus; tegular; tegument; thatch; thug; tile; Tuileries.
and finally it points to the word “Stegosaurus” in the title of the biota infobox of the wikipedia article on stegosaurus.
