Obesity is caused by overeating. You don't get obese without doing that. That's kind of impossible since you can't make fat from nothing.

Yeah obese people with covid 19 were 114% more likely to be hospitalised, 60% more likely to be in ICU and 46% more likely to die.
It's a pretty obvious comorbidity - doesn't really need another study.
