This week/year/life has reminded me that hero worship can be dangerous to your own self-image and shake your sense of place in the world. But the death of David Lynch is a loss to the artistic community that will be hard to bare. Here's to hoping that he wasn't the last good one. ☕
"Lynchian" is a fully realized and instantly comprehensible adjective, as concrete a one-word summation of an artist's aesthetic and worldview as has ever been associated with any artist in any medium. Things will forever be Lynchian, but there was only one David Lynch. #RIP

Two years ago we found Prospero on the side of the road. He was underweight, dirty, & smelled like rotting onions (from polyps later found in his ear and throat). Today, after several vet visits, he is 10 lbs., ultra fluffy, and chitchats all day. He is a wonderful brother and is powered by love. 🤍🖤
