Photo looks like you are leaning round a little beardy man, teaching him how to use a modular synth, in the same way men in films do to pretty ladies learning to play pool / golf / darts etc 🤣

Hopefully not- your tubes will likely respond properly to treatment. Never got to the bottom of why mine didn't. The tubes lasted several years when in, and gave relief and hearing improvements for a good while even after they fell out.

My right ear- no. Ive had 7 grommets over the last 30 years, which helped when they were in, but issue always came back once they fell out. My eardrum is so scarred now not much can be done. Last time, the consultant hinted at putting the tube in in such a way that it might leave a permanent hole.

I've had a cold trying it's best to take hold the last few days, woke up at 1am on Monday morning with a blocked left ear (my good ear!) which has thankfully since unblocked and can be popped now, but that was a bit scary as that's how my right ear started 30 years ago, and never recovered.
