a home and feeding station for any rodent, made from white stoneware with occasional pools of colour. it is off the ground, for leaping pleasure. it is gritty for claw length control. it is shaped like a log horse with long legs. every living creature deserves quiet enjoyment of their own lives.

gritty white stoneware, unglazed and unfussy. a fair sized humanoid figure, that requires 2 hands to hold it safely, lights up with a soft red glow from its standing-by brain. its posture is peaceful and languid, but its limbs are ready to spring up like a panther.

fight to never need to fight. nothing is stronger than unconditional kindness
white stoneware squirrel night light perched on a teeny hill of boulders and flowers and glowing light holes. this clay is smooth and clear glazed here and then. our sweetie hero has little red paws because they had to get messy to be free. they hope every day that they will never need to fight again, and they actively communicate and strive to keep a steady peace in the forest.

in times of political and social upheaval it is useful to stay light on your feet
white stoneware spider ish thing that is the right size to stand inside a dinner plate. along its back are spikes and holes for incense sticks for that smokey goodness. its eyes are ginormous and glossy. it’s feet are blood red and have been walking in this world. tip tip tip toe baby dragon with spikey spine and holes for incense sticks. its little glossy red dipped feet and moving forward and a long and sweeping tail could carry you away. this critter is made from gritty white stoneware and is mostly unglazed. it is for touching with fingers and eyes.

stronger together
white stoneware lamp sculpture that shines blue light onto a humanoid figure with oversized eyes who is seated, leaning forward, arms around the neck of a horsey friend. one arm is bandaged but healing. the horse and rider stand on a drum shaped pool built of rocks and pebbles. they love each other.

this section of a totem style lamp base sculpture shows a little humanoid figure perched casually on the edge of a fish carcass eye hole. plants have grown up around him. the section above resembles a round bellied vase with holes that sprout dried green hydrangeas. and below the fish carcass is a dry stone wall. everything is created from unglazed white stoneware clay. it’s a little bit gritty. all my work tells tales of an optimistic post-human future where life evolves through cooperation and affection, where success is an irrelevant concept and experiences of love in all its forms is everything.
