So nice to see this work on converting abandoned rice fields back into mangroves, from my colleagues in Guinea-Bissau, getting the recognition it deserves!

For my fisheries friends, another reason to not get so myopically focused on I(UU) fishing. There is plenty of legal (or, at least, not illegal) destructive/overexploitative fishing out there. It's been an effort to start looking at our campaign planning & communications language to check ourselves.
Slavery was Legal.
Colonialism was Legal.
Jim Crow was Legal.
Apartheid was Legal.
Legality depends on who has power and the kinds of laws they pass to preserve their own privileges and bigoted views. Legality often has nothing to do with justice.
