Stoked to be a part of the Island House roster. This has been a label I’ve loved for a while (Tim has put out some of my favorite albums), so this is a “Can’t believe this is happening” moment for me. The New Standards Men crew is so appreciative our next album will be sailing under their flag.

As I watched my last shred of dignity fly out the window, I decided to watch the DIRTY BOXING promotion tonight. Two observations: one of the cut men looks a LOT like Tom Scharpling with a wig, and I just described this to my wife as “The Sour Science”.

Massive, wild trip to be holding this book. So happy to be a part of this thing. Immediately read the interview with Tim, Andy, and Matt from Bedhead. Just bananas great. Greatest rock band of my lifetime (well…Crazy Horse, then the Worm).

OUT is playing a show tonight. 11 year old me (along with my mom and our exchange student Takiko) would love to see you at Homer Stryker Field tonight around 7:30. I’ve got a Shawon Dunston rookie card, but a few Davy Martinez ones as well. Just watched Robocop for the 90th time, so I’m PRIMED.
