This is the one who started it all...The Great Pu(actually her name was Renko..big Hill Street Blues fan..but my 4 year old neighbor called her a "puuusums cat"). She was with me from the day she was born until she crossed the Bridge 21 years later..we went thru a lot together..she sustained me..

Just read where Homeland Insecurity has lowered the age for applicants to 18.As anyone who has ever taught high school can tell you..this is a bad idea.Their brains aren't done cooking yet..especially males. God knows I loved my students but putting them in these positions is not smart.

I have just fired off an email to my bootlicking, spineless Senator regarding the cowardly removal of funding to public broadcasting. I expect no reply(unless it's more bull) but I will not remain silent on this or many other issues. Now I need to sit quietly for a few minutes and look at a river...
