oh yeah, slightly less excited psa since peak is on sale again (woo!) but it's solely on the EAA this time. it's how i grabbed it years ago and despite occasional Annoyances it's been fine enough, though i imagine the Steam->EA connect is more beneficial for some

My stats: Level 10, 153188 points scored throughout the run, with six medals individually (Gold in Grabs, Kills, Headshots and Pistol Kills; Silver in Tech Kills; Bronze in Melee Kills) and five as a quote-unquote team (10 waves survived; Bronze Challenge; Unknown Enemy; Unknown Map; Full Extraction). From the third-person perspective of whoever this unlucky bastard is, we see five enemies; one Banshee on the left and three Geth Pyros + a (cloaked) Geth Hunter on the right. All are within melee range of the player. Additional details for the layperson: • Geth Pyros are the second-toughest unit in the Geth lineup, right below the Geth Primes. On Silver and above, getting caught by a Pyro in a lapse of attention will often result in your shields being entirely stripped in a second or two (which, on most classes, is the best case scenario). Hunters are the third-easiest, above the standard Geth Troopers and Rocket Troopers, but their plasma shotguns will also pretty easily knock you flat on your ass if you're unguarded or caught unprepared. • Banshees are 1. the Reapers' obligatory boss-type enemy, 2. capable of easy burst damage *and* damage-over-time if you're not moving around properly, and 3. capable of sync-killing. Sync-kills are effectively just player executions; if the Banshee picks you up and prepares to murderize you, there's no coming back from that unless and only unless someone/something does enough damage to her prior to the kill animation.

HUD-less is a bit scary still but it's nice to know i have enough game sense to mostly get through it. full Bronze run solo, popped two medigels and an OSP - could be a lot worse. fun bit of footsie-ing involved (see: whatever the hell that rocket dodge was)

internet was functionally dead for a good while so i ended up returning to the one thing that gets me any comfort on offline days; marathon. endless instead of 200-line this time, though.

great run. 2/3rds of my fingers ache like hell now but waow did it hit

The score I placed here, much like my 200-line one from months ago, is the only one on the board: 2199179 points with 838 lines in 53 minutes. Additional stats: Level 20 (the max), a score-per-line of 2624.32, 15.8092 lines per minute. (Bonus detail: the background image is that of Niko from OneShot stuffing a forkful of pancake into their mouth, with a bright, white light all around them. honestly feeling really happy with this one even if it did fumble ultimately. for a 3/4ths-leveled QME (with nothing in Fitness and only a Shield Booster V as far as gear's concerned, to boot), this was pretty damn alright
