Today marks the 2nd yahrzeit of the genocide in Gaza. As Jews who are called to work for justice, as Canadians whose tax dollars go towards funding this genocide. With grief in our hearts, we must move into action.

Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada plans to recognize Palestinian statehood in September. This came one day after the groundbreaking report demonstrating ongoing flow of arms from Canada to Israel, yet made no mention of enacting an arms embargo.
