I saw a comment that really stuck with me about player avatar themes, how they kinda stick with only one.
Jester, toy box, chess piece, bunny, frog
Whereas a lot of the NPCs have 2 themes stacked on top of each other.
Gummy bandit, Victorian ghost, mannequin but blue or disappearing, etc.

Holy, this is fire. Fits like a glove into the aesthetic of the circus without stepping on any toes.
