PREACH! You just seemed up all the concerns we just spoke about in our dept meeting this afternoon. We don’t feel supported! Were constantly been thrown new things (curriculum, duties, policies, etc) and there is rarely an adequate amount of support from those outside the classroom.

Is he’s MY MAN- then my ppl are his ppl and he needs to be kind. This works in the reverse too. Ofc there are boundaries but I think ppl usually have those types of takes bc they don’t trust the ppl around them or know they shouldn’t be trusted at all. But that’s just my 2 cents.

Yes- basically. We keep trying to get the students to understand professional / appropriate dress for school but it goes in one ear and out the other. It’s esply hard when their parents don’t see it as an issue. I teach at a hs in Charlotte.

We don’t have uniforms in my district and my school struggles to enforce the dress code. In short- it’s all a hot stinky mess.
