Vox loves Valentino’s audacity, the same spark awakened by Al. But there’s cracks bc each is trying to recreate something they lost. Vox isn’t Angel. Val isn’t Al. So they orbit, loving together but never satisfied. Their fixation on Alastor and Angel isn’t only jealousy, it’s grief (22/23)

Now enter Valentino. While we know little of Valentino, he’s clearly suppose to represent the product of a system he could never escape. When he couldn’t destroy it, he chose to profit from it. A victim turned perpetrator. He learned power, violence, coercion, and extraction are key to life. (10/?)
