2. SCREEN-WELL® Natural Product library, BML-2865
Each one has advantages and disadvantages. We can long discuss about it.

This discovery highlights a new erythropoietic activity of spironolactone that is independent of steroid receptors, making it a promising candidate for drug repurposing in DBA and possibly other ribosomopathies.

We found spironolactone specifically blocks NLRP1 activation, reduces caspase-1 activity, and promotes red blood cell differentiation—
In cell lines, zebrafish DBA models, and HSPCs from DBA patients.
No effect seen with its analog eplerenone.
