I'm getting a "can't find this page" message when I follow that link, but this one works for me:

I'm in a very similar position. I only buy new TTRPG books if:
- I get rid of an old one first;
- It's directly relevant to a game I am currently running;
- I really want it;
- I don't really want it now, but think I might do in the future;
- It just looks cool, y'know?

Thinking about it, I ran the Magnus Archives RPG at the UK Games Expo this year as part of Roll Brittania's Zero-to-GM initiative, which now feels very prescient of me 🤣

All my favourite shows are now on Rusty Quill. I'm starting to doubt that there even _is_ anywhere else.

I'm not sure it's been much help TBH. If anything, it's only made the problem worse 🤣

I'm very new to convention GMing, so it'd be a no from me. I already worry enough about getting the timing right without having to fold in a latecomer!

The first sci-fi game I ever ran used GURPS, back in the late 80s/early 90s. I haven't played it in absolutely ages, but I will sometimes use some of the sourcebooks for background reading, they were excellent.

I have one friend like this. A lot of his enjoyment comes from knowing the system really well and being able to play with the intricacies of the rules, and he does really enjoy it. As a result, he doesn't have any interest in playing other TTRPGs.

I've got a friend who's a LOTR fan and has just got into TTRPGs and my first thought was "ooh maybe I finally get to play The One Ring?" 🤣

I actually wouldn't even need to actually play it, if I enjoyed reading it enough. Which is disturbing now that I see it written down 🤣

I don't think I ever realised that Virgin carried RPGs! Mind you, our local modelling and hobby shop had a really good selection so maybe it just never occurred to me to look.

To be fair I almost forgot too. I was looking around my room for inspiration and the three shelves of 40k RPGs reminded me 🤣

That's a difficult question! In no particular order, I think:

- Warhammer 40K.
- Shadowrun 1-3E.
- Iron Kingdoms (pre-Requiem).
- Ptolus.
- Nights Black Agents/Conspiracy X/Delta Green (I find it hard to choose which one, I just love that "modern world but with supernatural conspiracies" vibe).

I think it's a useful tool and, like all useful tools, it doesn't always apply. One of the skills it's useful for GMs to learn is when it does and when it doesn't.

The best dice set I have uses a different colour for each polyhedron. Makes it really easy to tell them apart at a glance, and it's great for teaching new players!

I also meant to say, it's also well-supported with both expansions and adventures!

It has a fun, playing card-based core system. It's rules for combat are clever, with the players _choosing_ where they go in initiative. I particularly like the fact that the rules for social maneuvering are well-developed, and make politicking a lot of fun.

As the first like was from @tabcreations.com I think it only right that my first game is their excellent Age of Ambition. It's a fantasy game, but set a little later than most; think Warhammer, but hopeful rather than grimdark.
