Ask how the black market operates and to examine Israel’s claim that Hamas steals or withholds food. And how cash liquidation works. If the banks are closed, is it money changers who provide cash and profit with exorbitant fees? Who is war profiteering and further restricting their access to supply?

How does the food situation work in Gaza? Who controls the food supply? Is it an armed gang? Are they withholding food by demanding prices nobody can afford or is that an inaccurate picture? Because if it’s inaccurate and there is truly a shortage would sending money there even help anything?
