Dissociation is virtually universal among child sexual abuse survivors. They may dissociate the event, or, if the abuse started early enough, portions of their childhoods. If abuse is severe, persistent, and perhaps multi-abuser, Dissociative Identity Disorder (MPD) or complex PTSD OFTEN results.

How many Nazis were actually punished because of Nuremberg? A handful. Few were tried. some of the convicted escaped punishment. In the end…teaspoons in the ocean. We need to stop holding this up as a paradigm of justice—even if there is a reason to expect actual justice in this case…which…well….

The seeds for this perp network started to be planted around the end of WWII, were almost exposed in the 80’s, silenced and then co-opted by the right (but both sides were involved, and men with power and wealth on an international level). There’s huge poetic justice to it being exposed now.

When you go to the collie breeder (our only purchased dog), and EVERYBODY ELSE is clustering around demanding attention, DON’T say “but we want a tri. Oh!
