How is it Tiktok on US soil 'needs' to be regulated by US lawmakers, yet MS, Meta, Google, Amazon, Apple etc should have free rein around the globe?

Like or hate Trump & his minions.. They are doing great things for local and/or open source tech adoption.. & driving business away from the big 5.
