So while I understand the collective outrage/anxiety regarding Trump, I want folks to remember that under EVERY US President the most marginalized are impacted - the better choice is a dismantling of the system- not a new shiny figurehead.

Use students pronouns, affirm their gender, be their safer space in a world that is trying hard to convince them that they should not exist. Be their safe haven.
