Never in doubt. In my lifetime, England has never won a series in Australia (ignoring 1978/9) without a dominant opener (or two) who bats time and makes a mountain of runs. Thinking Boycott/Edrich, Broad, Cook. Duckett and Crawley were never going to cut it. Only the margin in doubt.

I thought it was comparable to the YES rally in 2023 which even the police estimated at 30K. Multiply the police estimate by 3 is the standard, I think?
