Animation/Storyboard/Director working on throwing away everything I’ve built to become a self-published fantasy author. Follow my downfall, won’t you?

Also, if I mention I worked on Bojack Horseman do I sound desperate?
I’d like to add that this I also historically a sure sign of a tech bubble. Not saying it’s gonna vanish overnight. But they WANT you to fear its potential. Don’t. The pop is coming.

Hang in there, buddy…

I’ve written two novels. Wanted to write some short stories set in the world as promo material for the series. Feedback hasn’t been great! Turns out telling tight, short stories flexes a completely different set of writing muscles. I still hope to make it work, but man I have a lot to learn!

See?? Look how happy he is! See what he’s NOT doing? Reading the newspaper! Also because he doesn’t have thumbs… hmm… maybe that’s the solution…

Ah, you just gotta shove your head into the dirt and hold your breath for the next 4, 5, 10, 50 years. It’s nice and quiet down here!

I’m gonna be closely observing the comments on this post, haha. I’m with you.

This isn’t talked about enough. A narrator can make or break an audiobook experience. She is a fantastic narrator. Loved Black Sun, and the audiobook with it

No. Haven’t released a book yet. I’m able to get depressed and anxious about my writing without even doing so!

Totally with you. I gave up on it after a few months. Sadly, the things that seemed to get the most traction was the painfully-obvious engagement bait stuff, so the entire experience felt so artificial and manufactured. For an app designed to connect people, no one seemed genuine, or human…

I think I have higher tolerance for outside cold

Hell yeah

Might not be a popular opinion but... The first book's far and away the best of the trilogy. Like, I'd almost say not to bother with books 2 and 3. Enjoy book 1 for it's greatness and call it a day.

Oh no. No one told me it was cringe. What have kids moved onto nowadays? Braille? Is Braille cool yet?
