You say, "They will figure this out eventually..." but I think it's too late. They've alienated their core playerbase with so many perplexing decisions and have doubledowned on them despite the universal protest from their players.

If Sony saves Bungie from themselves, we all feast. But I have doubts - there hasn't been a lot of hope with the current state of things for Destiny & Marathon.

In what universe would this confounding Portal rollout be embraced by the dedicated player base? You know the base that logs in daily and keeps the game alive. This oddly detached game mode will not sustain casuals who might dip their toes in and bounce. They targeted this dlc at the wrong audience.

Yeah...that rolling around like a ball really struck my nostalgic longing for Marble Madness to infiltrate my favourite fps.

So, here's my point...Bungie showed off the upcoming expansion with dusty old content. I don't care if there's a fancy new portal to access said dusty old content. And a tip for future vi-docs..I recommend showing brand new content, even if the point is to reveal core game improvements.

Well, the Sepiks strike is 11 years old. The Moon lost sectors are 6 years old, and the Empire Hunts are 5 years old. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for something new. And seeing this DLC reskinned content doesn't interest me in the least; it will in fact deter me from playing the game.

Using an empire hunt, a moon lost sector, and the sepiks prime strike to show off the new DLC tells me all I need to know about the new DLC and Bungie's awareness or complete dismissal of player pain points like overused, old content.
