For example: opt-ing in or out of ads includes you, the target audience, getting a percentage of whatever the platform charges the advertiser.

Or maybe users set their own fees and the platform's algorithm manages and distribution based on what advertisers are willing to pay per view/click.

It's the ability to have personal data servers that stand out for me. Sure, not everyone will use them(though the documentation is 100% there), but the ability to completely unplug without losing data is new.

Also, advertising dynamics should shift if we own our data and not the platform?

I mostly think trump is a fool but the whole Canada takeover thing looks way more like a strategic land grab in case of war in light of tik tok actually getting banned.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid.
