Our system of gov't is based on sending representative members of The People. It was inevitable that our national stupidity would reach a tipping point, where it finds its way into gov't, to be imposed upon everyone. We are living The Idiocracy, but with a substantial mix of Iron Sky mixed in.

The United States desperately needs a universal, taxpayer-funded healthcare system which is available to everyone regardless of income or health status, and where every provider is assured to be "in network."

I mean, THEY didn't actually want everyone voting. Not saying they excluded the right groups, necessarily, but they at least recognized that not everybody is smart enough to do it properly.

The fact conservatives are reacting to this with anything other than disgust is the whole story: "Owning libs" is their only priority. The health of our shared society matters to them not at all. We will all suffer so that they can feel victory over people who make them feel inferior.
