I would add Red Note to the list, needs translation app and you need to get used to it, but it will deliver great recommendations once you have the algorithm adjusted to your interests

It’s a good idea to enable WeChat pay as a backup, as sometimes Alipay might not work. WeChat has translation baked in, very useful even if the other person is in front of you.
Apple Maps are different when you enter China and provide a decent service, although Amap is definitely the best one.

This review fails to mention her first album, Los Angeles, and then mistranslates a comment she made on a TV contest making her say the exact opposite of what she actually said (I checked on youtube). It’s disappointing that The New Yorker publishes such a carelessly written piece.
