I really feel like this game has no sense of balance, or if it does, it has the balance of a drunk toddler. Like, clearly, you're just being the fun police. You clearly made it punish you for rewarding you, but not reward you with anything besides the same basic gameplay.

Every time I die it's just some cheap shot. Not where you can even get gud. Even if you get great drops that feel super broken, the enemies are buffed to overcompensate and it feels like a cringe D&D game master pumping his ego.

Frieren better get anime of the year this year. I have only watched two episodes and have cried and laughed hysterically, and I love how they are handling the character progression and everything is still so finely detailed and gentle. I love it. 10/10

@cultofthelamb.bsky.social I really do hope the Nintendo Switch version if the game gets more stable support. I have constant crashes, visual bugs, framerate drops, music cutouts, delayed/interrupted inputs, and bugs that affect combat to the degree that I couldn't get past room 2 many times now.

Your program on Switch sucks, and a lot of other platforms have similar issues. Like how subtitles don't work unless you watch it in Japanese for some dumb reason. Not always though, just most of the time.

I know I am bad at games, but I am on the last boss of Act 1, the Last Judge. Sure. It's definitely a fight that feels like a biblical level of judgement.

Whoever was in charge of designing sword and shield needs to know they took one of the most fun IP's and made one of the least fun experiences a game has to offer. Every good move-set is outside of the game, there are many useful pokemon unavailable in it, and all dynamax fights are an unfun slog.
