The National Geographic Institute of Spain detect 13 low-intensity earthquakes in Vilaflor, #Tenerife. The events were recorded at depths of 3 and 8 km. Deformation of the ground in the area of #Teide was also detected, which led to a PEVOLCA meeting.

Trevejo Volcano on the northwest rift zone of Tenerife changed the life of many in 1706 while they were still feeling the earthquakes from the 1705 eruption. Its lava flows partially covered the town of Garachico including its harbour from where plenty wine had been exported to New Spain and GB.

Trevejo Volcano on the northwest rift zone of Tenerife changed the life of many in 1706 while they were still feeling the earthquakes from the 1705 eruption. Its lava flows partially covered the town of Garachico including its harbour from where plenty wine had been exported to New Spain and GB.
