I try not to get too heated over stuff related to The Game Awards but as someone who's seen both, I can't pretend I'm not upset over the Devil May Cry anime getting nominated over Sonic Movie 3.

Some day I should stream Shadow Generations on the channel with no warning. When it came out I did a poll asking if people would watch me if I streamed it, and at the time most people said "no" (to my own surprise, I should say), yet I got additional votes saying "yes" months after the fact.

So there's a project I have to do for school that involves making a trailer of sorts, and when I put on this background music, I got the idea to do it in the style of a crummy Windows Movie Maker project.

So there's a project I have to do for school that involves making a trailer of sorts, and when I put on this background music, I got the idea to do it in the style of a crummy Windows Movie Maker project.

For those interested in any sort of update on Knuckles Quest, I'll say that I would possibly have made a dev log on itch by now if it wasn't for the fact that they seemingly broke the functionality of GIFs around the beginning of October and still haven't fixed them.

I still don't think I've fully recovered from playing OneShot. It's weird because I wouldn't even say it's that great of a game, but I felt more personally affected on the first playthrough than with any game I've played in a long time.

The thought of getting in a car accident doesn't scare me nearly as much as the thought of getting hit while jaywalking because there aren't any crosswalks within a quarter mile.

...well, I think it's real.
I'm not entirely sure OneShot is a real game despite seeing pictures of the main character all over the place. I've never heard anyone talk about it, I don't know if I have any friends who have played it, I haven't played it myself, and I know little about it. Do I really know if it's real?

This might seem strange, but if there was one Pixar movie I'd be interested in seeing a sequel to, it might be Elemental. I wasn't a particularly big fan of it, but I did feel like there was more they could do with the world and characters.

Reflecting on this further, I was actually somewhat worried that people might not see Omochao because he's small and doesn't stand out from the environment enough, but people consistently picked him up even when they didn't need to. Guess that's what they mean by you being your own worst critic.
You know, of all the potential hangups people have playing my game, I wasn't expecting the biggest to be that people have difficulty figuring out that you're supposed to attack objects with cracks in them. Playtesting is important, kids.

I don't know how hot a take this is, but I think The Second Sanctuary is my favorite track in Deltarune Chapter 4. I've considered the Third as well, but something about the Second feels more poignant.

I don't really like drawing hard lines on how long platformer levels "should" take, because I feel like that depends a lot on what each game is trying to do with its level structure and if the levels themselves can find ways to hold my attention.
