It is a shame that the Pope's admonition is so urgently needed, but I am glad it was written and I hope it will have an impact on those who need to hear it.

I am glad I will be able to think back to the 2024 election and remember the great time we had conducting the Baltimore Battleground Exit Poll. 1,200+ responses across 20 total sites in early and same day voting, and a total win for UMBC.

Today: the Provost's Teaching and Learning symposium at UMBC. Chatting with attendees about my experience podcasting the social sciences, a project that started in my basement during COVID because I was bored and lonely, and which now serves as a pedagogical tool for faculty across the disciplines!
