In cloud video editing all the editing happens in the server. Any user action is sent to the server, which handles both audio and video tracks, does the compositing, encodes the final stream live which is sent back to the browser using WebRTC.

This is powered by GStreamer Editing Services (GES).

#IBC2025 is over. Kudos to @thiblahute.com for his talk "GStreamer: Powering cloud video editing and post-production workflows". The reception was fantastic. The room packed, there were plenty interesting questions and follow up conversations.

Igalia is at #RDK Global Summit at Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.

We are showcasing @gstreamer.org's WebRTC and WPE powering Amazon Luna on a RDK reference Sagecom set-top-box.
